I selected update, but all material zones and group informations are gone Sad
I worked on that UV for long hours Sad

Latest setup file.

I used welding UV, not used clean. I didn't got any error message or notice when loaded.
Later I tried with a simple sphere with 3 zones, loaded with and later without welding UV option, and material zones are always gone Sad

What program are you using to save and load the OBJ files? Maybe you need to check the load or save options in your modeling application.

If you save something out, and load it straight back in without using UVLayout, does it preserve the material information?

Same as before. Hexagon. I used UVLayout many times and were not any problem. I not used it since 1-2 month, and skip some updates. Now I updated and can't use 'update' option well.
I checked keep UV in Hexagon. I checked it....when I exported an object, there were material zones. (checked in UV Mapper) Than worked in UVLayout, updated...and lost all of group and material zones Sad (Checked in UV Mapper) Even with a simple sphere.
I tried older updates, but with v.202 I got same result. Still not tried V200

Can you email me one of the simple spheres that Hexagon writes out? I'll check the Update button here on your file to see if I can work out whats happening.
