Whether pressing T or using the actual buttons, UVLayout does not cycle through its three texture choices. I looked in Program Files and the numbers/checker texture is indeed there in the lib folder.

Is this a bad install or am I overlooking something simple?

"UVLayout does not cycle through its three texture choices."

You have to be in the 3D view, with a mesh that has at least some flattened polys. If you haven't flattened the mesh then there's no UVs, so no texture can be applied.

Well boy do I feel dumb! Thanks for the response and thank you VERY MUCH for creating UVLayout. It's fantastic and I really enjoy what seemed like such drudgery and frustration before.
