Hi again Phil,

As the subject suggests I've come across this bug recently. In the Preferences screen I noticed a button to Set All UVs on Save which I read in the docs should do a planar projection on any faces not dropped to the UV window.

I should note that I'm using the XSI Plugin to 'Send' the mesh to XSI rather than saving or updating, so it might be something to do with that. But when I run the Import script in XSI it brings the obj but without any UV info.

However if I manually drop everything to the UV window it imports to XSI ok. This is ok if you can see everything in the edit window, but a work colleague discovered some tiny stray polys only by chance which was preventing the proper export.

Discovering this bug also highlighted some additions I'd like to see with the G picking tool. I'll make a fresh post for that suggestion.

Thanks.

Bug confirmed! When the OBJ is saved normally, that option works, but its not doing it when run in plugin mode. Actually, its the "Update" function thats broken, and the plugin mode uses that to save out its OBJ files before sending the mesh back to the applicaiton.

I'll try and get this fixed sometime in the next few days.

Phil

Update: Bug fixed, but as I'm traveling at the moment, I wont be able to build 2.00.05 until the end of the week.
