|

Hello,
I´ve got my professional dongle a few days ago and I´m just starting with UV layout. Everything works fine so far but I still haven´t figured out one thing:
Let´s say I have a Head and a neck and in UV layout I cut off the head from the neck to flatten them separately. I send the head into UV editing mode (via the "d" key), flatten it and then I send the neck into UV editing mode and flatten it. Finally I want to merge those two parts at the seams where they belong together. I have seen this somewhere and I know that it can be done but I don´t find the video or tutorial any more. Could you explain the single steps I would have to do?
Thanks a lot in advance!
UV layout is fun!

What you want is welding, which is covered by the "UVLayout-Welding-Shells" video under the Basic videos at uvlayout.com.
