I'm in a bit of pickle!
I d/l'd the 1.20 update, put in the key and nada.
I subsequently had a system crash. (Not UVLayout fault!)
I had to reinstall my NIC driver and got an updated version.
Got the Internet, no got UVLayout.
Uninstall, clean out the registry. Try again and no go.
Request a new ID, try that one and nada.
HELP! |

Did UVLayout ever work for you, or is v1.20 your first download and attempt at an install? When you double click on the "headus UVLayout" desktop icon, what number shows up next to the "Ether" label. If you click on the "Refresh" button, does the Ether ID change?

Oh, no UVLayout has worked for me.
I was using 1.19.2 saw the 1.20 update and that didn't work.
If you recall on 6/13/2007 I requested a new key.
Then the crash.
My NIC drivers got trashed.
I wound up trying the "Keep Alive" because what happened to Xena in 2006 seemed similar to me. I uninstalled, cleaned out the registry, fresh installed the latest, with the key from xxxxx and nada. I requested a key again on 6/30/2007, got it and still nada.
The Ether # is the same from the previous versions, OTHER and DONGLE are at NOT FOUND. KEEP ALIVE is ON. Next to UVLayout reads no key, though the 6/30 key was used.
I have followed the text in the grey box to edit and refresh, still no key.
Another question. Should I have [b]three[/] lines of key text? (The # from the original request-5/12/2007, the 'renewal #' from 6/13/2007 and the # from 6/30/2007)
I did a fresh install and used the [b]latest[/] key sent to me (so that would be only one line). No Ether # change when REFRESH is pressed.
Sorry to be a bother. |

OK, there's a few things I'll get you to try ... I'll send details in email.
