Hi there.
I am really interested in this software and I want to have a look since I've heard amazing things about it.
I've just downloaded the trial version 1.19 (iuvlayout-070522.exe UVLayout Beta v1.19.2).
My PC rig:
AMD Athlon 64, 3200+. 2GHz, 2 GB RAM. Windows XP Home Edition 2002. SP2
ADSL.

Now I go to step 2...
Find out what your Ether ID is by running this ...
Start->Programs->headus UVLayout->about UVLayout

and I get this error in a popup window: howin32. Unknown fatal error detected. Exiting!

What can I do?

Unfortunately not a lot other than trying it on a different PC.

I've never heard of UVLayout crashing at that point ... actually its not even UVLayout running at that stage, its just the GUI for adding/checking the license keys. Could be because of the AMD 64bit architecture ... does it manage to do anything at all (ie pop up a window) or does it crash straight away?

Try this ... create an empty text file called "htlg.txt" in C:/Temp. If C:/Temp doesn't exist, create it. Try step 2 again, and if that application runs at all it might dump something useful into the text file. If there is anything in there, email it to me and I might be able to work out what broken.
