Is there a way to manage Groups and Materials in UVLayout? Can previously assigned groups be preserved when a mesh is loaded? I've had to tweak UVs after I grouped and assigned materials and UVLayout wipes them out. It wasn't a big issue because I restored them from a prior version of the OBJ but it would be nice to have an all in one tool.

Even if it preserved the grouping and only allowed you to manage material zones, that would be awesome. Thanks.

James

No sorry, no handling of groups yet in UVLayout itself. If you use "Update" instead of "Save" though, it'll preserve the materials assigned to each face in the original OBJ file.

I didn't know that. Thank you! That will come in handy.
