I got my dongle in the mail and I am trying to get it installed. I downloaded abd installed the drivers and restarted the computer. When I go to the release notes and licenses page it still says I have 29 days on my temp licenses. How do I know whether the ether dongle is working and Uv tools has reckognized it? |

The licensing GUI should show an 8 digit hex number after the Dongle label. Did you grab the dongle license key from your uvlayout.com support page? You'll need to add that to the keys file (click on Edit and cut'n'paste the key in).

No, thats only sometimes required if you're using a LAN card for the license ID. You can read all about that at http://www.uvlayout.com/keys/.

Ahhh, OK ... Gnomon has half a dozen or so licenses of UVLayout so far, plus a few others purchased by teachers for their own work. In fact we paid them a visit a few months ago!
