I've been binge watching a lot of the tutorials and a few mention the HOME key to help rotating on focused objects or to soften the dark blue areas. Where exactly is this HOME key and how do I activate it?

I think you're on a Mac, right? You can use the comma and period (full stop) keys to do the same thing as Home and End.
