Often when I drop a cut to the UV space to flatten, the UVs rotate.... how can I stop this or fix the orientation.

Example:

Super Simple... this is just a box... but this will demo the issue.

I split off the bottom face and drop it

I press F and it flattens... all good right? This is how I think it should work.

ERROR

I cut each face like so... drop to the UVspace and then....

As you can see when this flattens... it rotates the UV to some unknown degree... meaning I would have to eyeball it back into place.... Why does this happen and how can I stop it or fix it without eyeballing. This example is trivial but it dose this for a lot of organic complex shapes as well as large non-organic shapes.

Anyhelp would be apreciated.

So I want to say:
Select first UV shell element
then place it to 0.0.0
Select second UV Shell element
then place it to 0.0.0

Hold down Ctrl, then mouse-over an edge and press one of the arrow keys. This will align the edge to the arrow key direction.
