|
|
Hello,
I've downloaded the linux demo (I'm using Centos 6. .
When I run uvlayout, after setting the env variables, it loads intermittetly, and when I try and load a file a dialog appears saying: "Can't link to cyeatD"
Then when I try running headus license tool it says the trial license is expired.
Any help is much appreciated.

Is its possible that you've had UVLayout installed on that system at some point in the past? I'm wondering if its picking up old values for the home setting, because that could explain the cyeatD thing and the expired license.
I'd recommend setting up a wrapper script to run the demo, as explained here ...
http://www.uvlayout.com/doc/Installation_Guide:_Linux#Wrapper_Script
That way you can be sure that the process gets a clean environment.
