UVLayout has a serious problem in packing for a long time.
This is the result of packing in after 1 minute.
This is the result of packing after 5 minutes. It starts just as same as with first picture but after 90 seconds it switches a new layout which is worse than previous layout.
I have seen this same problem in so much situtations. Sometimes packing tool switches a new layout which is worse than previous layout when packing. |

If you have the Windows Pro version, and an up-to-date support subscription, then go to your uvlayout.com Support Extras page to download the latest beta version.
We did some work on the packing tool recently for use with lightmaps, and that may also have helped with the bug you're seeing.
If you don't have the Pro version, or are on a Mac or Linux system, then possibly later this week or next we will be releasing all versions of UVLayout with these fixes/additions.
