|

Hello,
When I make cuts to a uv shell in UV view, I'd like to not have distortion happen as I work. I understand that I need to change "open cuts in uv view" but am not seeing it under my edit settings. Am I looking in the right place? I'm using v2.07.02 - professional so do I need to update to get access to this option? I'm getting around this right now by marking polys using the "g" key and hitting enter to separate them that way, but cutting using the "c" key would be preferable. Thanks! |

Just figured out how to do this. If you want to make a cut without distortion, under "segment Marked Polys" have "Fast Weld" switched on. Works like a charm! |

Also under the Edit Preferences you can disable "Open Cuts in UV View", which is set and forget ... you wont have to keep turning on Fast Weld mode if you use the preference.
