Hi There,

When I open uvlayout all of the gui windows open and stack on top of one another.

Is there a preference somewhere to stop that happening?

Can you send a screen shot of this? It sounds like a bug maybe, but not something I've seen before.

Hi Phil,

Here you go. This is when I start up uv layout through maya. All the windows stack upon each other.

Ahhh, OK, that's a feature, not a bug. You must have "Restore GUI Panels" ticked under the GUI Preferences tab.

If you dont want all the panels re-opening, then untick this.

If you'd still like the panels opening, but not on top of each other, then move them into the desired position and click the blue "~" button at the top left of each floating panel. It will turn into a "v", indicating the position is pinned. Next time you start UVLayout, the floating panels will then open up in those pinned positions.
