Hi - similar to some other folks, I'm having trouble with the send-to-Maya link. My Maya scene blinks, and the script dialogue reads "UVs loaded from UVLayout," but the UVs never seem to change, no matter what. Additionally, if I try to save out my OBJ/UVs manually, UV layout will freeze if I try to access any of the drop-downs in the save dialogue (to change the location, etc), and even if I don't, it won't save.
Weirdly, I can save out my OBJ if I've opened UV layout independently of Maya (but then of course the send-to link is non-existent). I'm on Mac OS 10.10.1, for whatever that's worth. Everything had been working fine the last time I used Headus, although I don't remember how long ago that was. And it still works on very simple meshes (tested it on a box), but anything above 10K it seems to freak out.
Any ideas? |

Sorry for delay, been on summer holidays here.
Which version of UVLayout are you using?

no worries - thanks for getting back: it looks like "v2.08.05 - Hobbyist." I believe that's the most recent version? I just tried reinstalling the plugin, and afraid I'm getting the same results: script editor indicates UV's have been received from Headus, but they don't update in Maya's UV editor window. |
