|
|
Hi,
If you have several rectangular shaped shells and rotate them manually with space left click, when you have the align shells to axes option on it will align them to the axes.
I am finding that if you select several rectangular shells (or none) and rotate them with the move/scale/rotate tools, once they have been rotated, they will not be effected by the align shells to axes option.
Is this a bug?
Cheers,

Weird! Yes, definitely looks like a bug ... I dont remember making it a "feature", and there appears to be no good reason for it doing that anyway.
Its not ideal, but the work-around is to save (e.g. one of the Tmp keys) then reload and repack.

OK, its fixed ... a simple flag that needed to be reset when shells are rotated with the move/scale/rotate tool. I can build a new installer if you want, otherwise the save and reload thing will carry you over until the next beta/bug-fix release.

Ok great.
Did you manage to look at the reshape tool crash report?
I really need to use this feature.
If you were going to make a new installer, fixing the reshape function would be of a higher priority than the rotate shells option.
Cheers,

Sorry, no progress yet on your UVLayout fixes/features because of other pressing deadline, but I can spend some time on it this afternoon. Stay tuned for updates in the reshape crash ...
