Hi guys, I have my model in obj and i opened in UV Layout, I can do the cuts and all is ok. But It appears blue segments I am only doing half side of the model and when I press U key and it appears Can't UV edit. No faces in UV Spaces. what can i do?

After cutting some pieces off, did you "drop" them into the UV space? Thats the 'D' hotkey ... it moves the cut geometry from the Ed space into the UV space.
