hi
when i first load in my object from Maya, the MMB and RMB work the same as in Maya, however the LMB doesn't seem to work the same which is frustrating.

object revolves vertically ok, but not horizontally (left/right) on the pivot?

i notice after going into UV/3d space after cutting etc and coming back to the ED window seems to then work.

any ideas why?

thx

Confused

By default, UVLayout wont let you rotate something over so its upside down, so maybe you're hitting that limit somehow in combination with the Up setting being incorrect for your model.

Try setting the Display Up to "Free" so see if that helps.

the model is up the correct way in Maya, but loads upside down in the UV Layout

However, the FREE command fixes the problem - thanks Smile

Great! It odd though that it comes into UVLayout upside-down; you might actually have it flipped over in Maya without realizing it.
