|
|
hi, is it possible to change or remove the welding falloff?
i have a eye socket in a different shell from the head, now i want to weld it together to the eye but i don't want to touch the eye so the local and inside scaling tools are not an option
a simple welding would work but every time i weld it the vertices on head shell that belong to welding move to adjust to the socket, increasing or decreasing the size of the brushes doesn't work either, how do i do this?
PS: i also tried using the S key on top of the P and it seems to work a little better, some do stay in place, others don't, and if i control Z they never unweld |

If you have v2.07.00 or later, then pin the boundary of the eye shell before you weld ... aim the mouse pointer at any vertex on the boundary and type Shift-P to pin it.
