Greetings,
UV layout has for a long time been my preferred unwrapping tool. Unfortunately there is now no edge selection ( with the "c" key") when using my ati HD 5970 graphics card. When I disable it, my display and performance are obviously effected negatively but UV layout works fine. It's definitely the relationship to my video card and UV layout. I cannot seem to turn off the hardware acceleration due to either the card or Windows 7. Any other fixes out there? I really don't want to go back to unwrapping in Maya.

Thanks,
JerPoz

The could be the result of a known problem on some ATi Radeon cards. UVlayout doesn't like Anti Aliasing in Super Sample mode, so try setting that to Adaptive mode or deactivate it in your display adapter card's properties panel.

Thanks for the advice. I just set the anti aliasing properties to "use application settings" and its working!
Thanks again.
