I feel you pain........... i've been stabbing the "C" key on my keyboard relentlessly trying to see if perhaps UVlayout was incorrectly recognizing the XY position of my cursor, but to no avail. I've spent hours trying to figure out why i can't "Cut" any edges; i even set "uvlayout.exe" to run as admin under a compatibility mode of all the choices in the dropdown menu.
My dirty solution was to install "Windows Virtual PC" which contains "Windows XP Mode." I installed it there, and it works perfectly, the "C" key works. In XP Mode there is no video driver whatsoever, just default windows display adapter, kinda like when you do a fresh install of XP.
The problem may be a compatibility bug with UVLayout running on Windows 7 64-bit or ATI 10.7 (latest version) Display Driver, or both.
Time to pop a couple migraine pills to get rid of this headache................ |
