So am I to understand Phil, that even tho I bought the prerelease version, Ill be ineligible for the Professional Version because I purchased an Ether Lic?

Whatever the reason, people who have purchased Ether licenses can get licenses keys for other Ether IDs during that first year for free, and for $50 per year after that.

And to answer umblefugly, everyone who bought an Ether license before the release gets all the privileges of a Professional license after the release. They do not have to buy a dongle at that point, but can do for $125 if they wish.
