|
|
Hello.
I bought a new computer recently and after installing UVlayout it was running smoothly and beautiful then my OS stopped working for unknown reasons and had to restore to a previous point.
Installed everything back again but UVlayout started to be unresponsive.
I also activated the onboard graphic card to use the monitor display from it and leave the NVIDIA gpu to do the heavy load for app rendering etc.
My guess is that that's where the issue is coming from. Is there a way to fix this?
Or, how can I figure out what the issue is?
Thank you! |

Here's an update.
I figured out how to switch to my NVIDIA GPU and the issue is solved.
From Start Icon, type "Graphics Settings". Click the results from System Settings.
Click Desktop App.
Click your application. If your application is not on the list, you will need to browse to the folder where the .exe file is located.
Once identified, click Options.
Set the application to your preferred GPU.
Click save.
If you have your onboard GPU active you will see both, the intel gpu and the nvidia gpu, The later will actually show as high performance. |
