Hi,

I am fairly new to UV Layout so I am probably doing something wrong but I am having the following problem.

when I try to flatten the same object (the turret of a tank) using the Shift-F command I get totally different resullts.

Attached you'll find the UV map of the first attempt (UV layout correct flattening). Which is actually the result I am looking for.

In the first attachment you'll find the result of the 2nd attempt which is obviously not what I want.

In the 3rd attachment You find the ulv file.

How can I consistently get the first result?

pls help

kind regards

Michel
