|
|
Hi, when I'm trying to move a box with shells on which Rectify was applied and grabbing empty space instead of corner UVLayout crashes. Version 2.10.0 Windows 8.1
Updated: works not only on with Rect shells, but just clicking outside of the box and then trying to drag it around also result in crash.
Here's a video with demo.

Thanks for taking the time to make a video!
In the latest version I added the ability to move a box around without having to grab a corner handle ... it worked fine in my testing, and still does now when I test it, but obviously something is broken if you're getting a crash.
If you use the old method (i.e. MMB click on the corner handles only) does that avoid the crash?

The crash doesn't occur when using corner grab, only when new method is used.
I tested it on 3 different windows 8.1 PCs, demo version for Mac and even demo on virtual Windows XP machine. Every time it crashes once I try to move a box with new method. In rare cases it works for one time, but after I release mmb and click outside of the box and try moving it again - the crash occurs. |

If you go to your uvlayout.com Support Extras page, you'll find the latest v2.10.01 beta there.
I must have made a change somewhere that had the side-effect of fixing this bug, because I cant get it to crash now.
