Is it possible to work in headus and keep the odd faces. I am working on a motion graphics project that involves a long line of cubes that are going to rotate from left to right. What I would like to do is be able to cut out odd faces and then stack them together so that when they are rotated the UVs would line up. Hopefully this makes sense.

No sorry, I don't follow :)

Generally speaking though, the error/warning about "Odd" faces when you import an OBJ is to do with either non-manifold edges, or duplicate faces.

Non-manifold edges are where you have three or more faces sharing a single edge. When you select "Clean", these are fixed by inserting a new edge to split the third face away from the others.

Duplicate faces are where two or more faces have exactly the same vertexes (i.e. they're perfectly overlapped). The "Clean" here will removed the duplicate faces.
