Starting today, UVlayout has refused to open. When I click any of the three executable files, the program instantly closes and all that is visible is a the black command box for a split second. When I check the license manager, it says unknown software was found, however I have not installed anything new between yesterday and today (from when UV layout was working to broke).

Currently running Windows 8.1

Try re-installing ... the fact that the licensing GUI says "unknown software found" might mean some files got deleted somehow.

Also generally speaking, you shouldn't run the EXE files directly. The installer will have created desktop icons and/or a Start menu, which is how you should be launching UVLayout.

Unfortunately re installing it doesn't seem to help, I've tried twice now. Also tried rebooting my computer a few times, but to no avail. Any other suggestions by chance?

Can you email me a screen capture of the licensing GUI?

Problem solved by re installing while my anti-virus was disabled. It kept deleting two of the executable files. Thanks for the help Phil!
