Hello,

Is there a way to pack multiple boxes or shells the same distance along multiple udims?

You can gather shells in U and V but you cant control the distance. I would like to be able to gather shells or boxes U or V with control, ideally with the move/scale/rotate fields.

Cheers,
Mike

Well, as you probably know, the gather only works on shells currently. Extending that to boxes would be tricky I think, but I'm wondering if a general "sort" tool might be the way to go.

Someone else has already requested it, so I can kill two birds with one stone :) So basically you'll be able to select shells or boxes, then sort by a number of parameters (e.g. U size, V size, area, num polys etc), and that's where I could put in the defined spacings you are after.
