Hi there,

Just testing out a new Nvidia K2000 graphics card with UV Layout and finding response extremely sluggish.

I had similar experiences with the previous Quadro FX 4800 cards, but the sluggishness would past after some seconds.

As the problem is persistent with the new cards, I'm posting here in case anyone has encountered similar issues, knows of any fixes, or if there might eventually be a patch to support the newer workstation cards.

Thanks!

Recent beta releases and the latest Demo include a preference for selecting the vertex mode in low level OpenGL calls. This might be the fix you are looking for ... select one of the options, then open up a new mesh and see how the refresh rate goes. If its still slow, select one of the other options and *reload* the mesh to test.

You can get the latest betas from your uvlayout.com Support Extras page. If you dont have a current subscription, you can download the Demo to test if those settings help before deciding if you want to renew or not.

Great! I have thought about making that the default, but on at least one system I've tested it made things worse. Ideally it would do a quick test on start-up to work out whats best.
