this seems to be new because I never had this problem before, but when using UV Layout as a plugin in Maya, I am unable to save the mesh as a UVL. (i like to do this in case something goes wrong like it did today) When I pull up the save menu it freezes the application and I have to force quit UV layout

I am using version 2.8 of UV layout

Maya 2012 (i have 2013 but have not tried in this version)

Mac OSX 10.7.4

Are you using the latest Maya plugin (the one that installs via the UVLayout GUI)?
