Enter doesn't detach an area marked with cut. Help?!

Hey,

So I use "C" to mark the edges where I want to divide my mesh but pressing Enter has no effect. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Hmm, could be that you're in the 3D view. You can tag edges on already flattened pieces of geometry, but need to switch to the UV view to detach them.
