When you press S over a selected shell, and do your flattening thing, are you supposed to be able to "un-yellow" that shell afterwards?

i.e I press S over a shell in UV view. The wire turns yellow. I press optimise, or any of the other flatteners, and flattening happens according to set parameters. Clicking the wire again turns the wire green with a yellow outline, but it won't give me black wire on green/red/blue mesh again, even when unselected?

The 'S' hotkey is used for Stacking operations. If you're just flattening or optimizing, you don't need to use 'S', so skip that step and you wont end up with a yellow shell.

By the way, to get rid of the yellow highlighting, when the 'S' key stack menu appears, click on empty space to unpick the shell.

I like using it - it gives me a nice little mini-snap when I activate it, v handy on impossible wires Smile
