Hey guys. Ive got a new version of the max to uvlayout script online.
This is a test release to see how well it works for other people. the main improvements are as follows
UVs are stored in a modifier
The stack is no longer collapsed.
Plugin works on most geometry types, not just editable poly.

Material support is not integrated yet but im working on it now. Im not expecting it to be a problem.

hey has anyone tried this? is it working for you? Its a bit demoralising to see nearly 200 downloads(across 3 uploads) and not a single comment either way. am i to take it no one is using it?

No news is good news!

Look back at most of the uvlayout releases here and you wont see a lot of feedback that any of the new features are working. Even when I'm in direct email contact with a user who's requested some special feature, I mostly only hear back when its broken or they want more.

Don't get demoralized ... sometimes it just takes a while for the feedback to ... ummm ... feed back.

Phil
