Hello All,

UVLayout v2.03 is now available for Professional users from ...

http://www.uvlayout.com/update

New features added in this version:

- Overlap: Used to detect and highlight overlapping UVs between
or within shells. A video showing this in action can be found under
the Advanced videos at www.uvlayout.com/videos

Phil

Update: I just found a bug in this release where unflattened polys can appear as overlaps! I'm doing emergency repairs now, so should have new installers ready within an hour or so.

Update: The Windows installers are now fixed and uploaded. Linux installers soon to follow.

Update: All fixed. Its now safe to download any of the v2.03.00 install files.

Hello All,

UVLayout v2.03.01 is now available for Professional users.

Bugs fixed:

- Shells that were accidentally undropped (Shift-D) instead of
split (Shift-S) lost their tagged edges after the undo.

- If there were locked shells inside boxes, then Pack All would
abort too early, leaving many other shells and boxes unpacked.

- Undropping shells in the Ed view (Shift-D) welds the geometry
all back together. This included separate objects though, like eye
balls, and some operations after that would give a "Not detached"
error message. Separate objects now remain separate, and there's
no more "Not detached" errors.

- The Maya to UVLayout interface plugin was broken under Mac OS X.

Phil

Hello All,

UVLayout v2.03.02 is now available for all users.

New features added in this version:

- Display X-Ray slider : Move the slider to the left to make the mesh more
and more transparent. You can use this see, and pick, obscured edges
that might be hard to access normally.

- GUI Always On Top preference : Turn this on to force the GUI windows to
always stay on top of the 3D window if they're overlapping. Linux and Mac
OS X only.

- Plugins : If specified, a list of edges can now be cut on the loaded mesh.
See plugin interface documentation for details.

Changes to existing features:

- Wheel slider preference : Move the slider to the right to increase the
power of a wheel mouse's zoom function. Move it to the left to decrease
the power, and go all the way to the left to turn off the zoom function
completely.

- The period '.' and comma ',' hotkeys can now be used as an alternative
to Home and End.

- The Command key can now be used as an alternative to Ctrl. For
example, Command-Z can be used to undo. Mac OS X only.

Bugs fixed:

- Load Clean option : Crashed the 3D window for some meshes.

Phil
