hi,
I have been intrudoduced to headus uv layout in GNOMONOLOGY " the making of smile" and I am really excited to getting to use UV layout , with MAYA 2008 platform.
Is there a certain version or exchange plugin ??
Just how can I set up the application and get him to work with models made in maya 2008..??
thank you very much |

Go to www.uvlayout.com/try to download the Demo version. Once you have that installed, the easiest way to test it with your Maya models is to export them from Maya as an OBJ, then load that into UVLayout. Be sure to watch some of the videos at www.uvlayout.com/videos, especially the first four under the Basic section.
There is a maya interface plugin available which makes this moving of models from and to Maya easier, but initially its probably best to stick with manually saving and loading OBJ files.
