Only possible with the Headus UV Layout in this quality. 100% 'square' texture and no seam visible. Best prog ever!

Actually, that sort of suprises me in a way :-) One reason I didnt get round to doing the edge straightening sooner was that I assumed every other UV editing package out there would be able to do it already, and so people doing geometric type shapes wouldnt bother with UVLayout.

Anyway, I'm glad it worked! Thanks for showing us the pic.

Geometric stuff as in tubes and ducts is no problem. Once it's bendy it's a collision between pelt mapping and conventional uv mapping.

Great work!... is there any chance you can post the laid out UVs and the textures image?

Did you use a tileable texture?
