Someone want to tell me which video explains what the "blue" seams in the Editor window means. I'm guessing that they denote some sort of mesh error/problem (flipped or detatched vertices, maybe?). I need to figure out how to fix the problem. I run an "geom check" before exporting the mesh, but UVLayout still seams to find errors. I have to check the "clean" option to get UVLayout to open the .obj file without error warnings, but there still seems to be problems with the mesh.
I had to do a lot (20) of Booleans, and subsequent hand welding of vertices to cleanup the "fractures" that creates and smooth the mesh. Possibly that's what's generating the flaws? Anyhow, can someone point me in the right direction, please.

Thanks,

Blue edges are cracks in the geometry, where adjacent polys in the mesh aren't sharing edges/vertexes. Currently UVLayout will only edit UVs, so these geometry seams cant be fixed in UVLayout itself, and you'll need to find a way of doing that within your modeling application before you save out the OBJ file. I know how to do it in Maya, but maybe some else can help if its something else.

Thanks. Now that I know what it is, I can fix it. It is right where I booleaned a couple of pieces together and I'm still learning to do them well.

update: Doh! It helps when you do a geometry check if you look at the mesh with the vertexes hilighted, not just check the polygons. It is where I did some hand stitching on the booles to reduce the "fractures" and smooth the joined areas. Embarassed Thanks, again.
