Hey,

I tried a search on Vista but got no results. I recently upgraded to Vista and installed the dongle drivers fine, but uvLayout refuses to acknowledge that the USB dongle is indeed plugged in.

Is uvLayout meant to work with Vista or is it unsupported as I write this? I'm not quite sure what to do in order to get uvLayout to recognize it as being plugged in.

Good timing! Literally about 30mins ago I fixed the dongle code for 64bit Windows XP, so its possible the updated API calls I'm now using will work for Vista too. I'll be uploading the installer for that tomorrow. In the meantime, go to the uvlayout.com/try page and apply for a beta license with your Ether ID ... I want to know as much as you if UVLayout will run under Vista or not :-)

I get my own copy of Vista as soon as Dell sends it to me ... can't say for sure when that'll actually be though.

Phil

Thanks, I've applied for a beta license and I'll let you know if it works with the dongle once the new installer is up!

The fix for 64bit Windows XP is now ready ...

... so if we are lucky, it'll work for Vista as well!
