The instructions are a little confusing for me. They talk about USB and parallel port HASP dongles, then say to download and install a driver to use the HASP dongle. Are both the USB and parallel port dongles HASP? Am I supposed to download the Windows driver for my USB dongle? Confused

Yup you need to download the Windows driver from the users support section of this site. Install the driver on all the comps you will want to run UVLayout on. Copy Paste your new license file ID from the support section into your keys .TXT file too. Plug in dongle and maybe "Refresh" License and you should be good to go. Hope it helps.

Yes, you need to install the driver for the USB dongles. You should have gotten email about how to login to the UVLayout support site, and there will be a link to the dongle driver there, but you can also grab it directly from ...

http://www.uvlayout.com/hasp/

"HASP" in the brand of dongle, which comes as either parallel or USB.
