Alot of you might be doing this already, but if you are trying to " Cntrl MM " tweak
individual points very finely , zoom in and instead of "Cntrl MM " grabbing the UV.

Hold down " Cntrl " move the pointer till its a few millimeters away from the UV and
" MM " click and it should make the UV jump to the pointer. You might have to
experiment with distance.

I've found it quite usefull for those fine tweaks in difficult areas for evening out the
colours of an odd poly UV by UV.

Also say on internal sraightened edges where you just want to slide a UV down a
line, You can just put the pointer on the line and " MM " nudge it along multiple
times using the line as your guide keeping it nice and straight.

Ouch, that sounds way too painful :-) So I've just added a horizontal and vertical point snapping hotkey. I'll upload the new installer sometime in the new couple of days.

Ah that sounds nice. Less cutting and straightening.

Also, I have been trying the updated features and they are working great. I was just wondering about the " red UV square " and if the distance it moves with each arrow keypress could be just a pixel. I use " autofit " to get the rough fit and then turn it off, so the distance i want to move the square after that is usually just a few pixels.

If you hold down the Tab key when using the arrows, the square moves less each step.

If you need any finer that that, then try the Move/Scale/Rotate panel. You can enter fractional values into the Move fields (eg 0.001), and that'll move everything by 1 pixel (assuming you're talking about a 1k by 1k map).

You know I tried the arrow keys with shift and cntrl modifiers , it would of really made me smile to find that by accident.
The transforms panel..of course Smile I didn't think of going down that low.Perfect thanks again.

Just uploaded the vertical/horizontal point snapping version. See http://www.headus.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=1263#1263 for details.
