Is there any way to show an XYZ axis (for reference to placing cuts)?

Couple of times I've run across trying to set a seam along a particular axis

wonder if it's Vista UAC related?

I get the UAC window with 'cancel' or 'allow' options, but when I allow, UVLayout pops
right up with the load options screen.

This was not the case for the .me ...

Here's my take on it:

Green = good
Red = stretched
Blue = compressed

You can use the 'overlap' button to find overlaps (under Optimize panel), but

many versions ago there were issues with video drivers and multiple monitors...
