Is there any way to show an XYZ axis (for reference to placing cuts)?
Couple of times I've run across trying to set a seam along a particular axis

wonder if it's Vista UAC related?
I get the UAC window with 'cancel' or 'allow' options, but when I allow, UVLayout pops
right up with the load options screen.
This was not the case for the .me ... |

Here's my take on it:
Green = good
Red = stretched
Blue = compressed
You can use the 'overlap' button to find overlaps (under Optimize panel), but

many versions ago there were issues with video drivers and multiple monitors...
perhaps this might be a consideration as well, johanz128 (not sure whether
you run UVLayout with mult. monitors)

So if I wrote something that took old UVs and new UVs and recalculated the map, you'd find that handy? There would be some blurring due to the resampling, but at least it could be a guide for the repa ... |
