Ok, this is the deal. I did the first UV unwrap in UVL. I got the UV's how I wanted them.
Then I saved the OBJ with the UV layout and imported it back into Maya. I worked on the UV's some more ... |

SWEET! I am done with my UV's! It works like a charm. Now on to ZBrush! This is the most useful program ever! I am texture artist mainly and I hate UV's.

When I have an inside edge that has no splits in it the edge has a purple line on it. What does this signify? Is it bad? Good? Just wondering if anyone knows. |
