I believe I'm experiencing the same issue.
I just installed UVLayout v2 Professional build 2.00.02 and found that howin32.exe opens and it accepts my license. However cysliceP.exe is hanging, displ ... |

I wonder if an Auto-Rotate Shells for best fit option would make sense?
In the following example, by default there's significant wasted space.

Great update!
The ability to pick multiple shells to move/rotate/scale them around at once is a feature I've been wanting for some time. Your implementation is even better than I'd hoped however.
