CyEdit, once known as CySurf, and NTest before that, was initially developed in 1993. Since 1994, CyEdit has been bundled with the Cyberware PS platform.

CyEdit provides comprehensive editing tools for Cyberware 3D range data. CyEdit can also extract NURBS surfaces and accompanying UV colour maps from Cyberware 3D scans, but CySlice has a significantly richer set of surfacing and resampling features.
