[prev] Templates: Mirroring [next]

You can use the Template tool to mirror all or part of a network between roughly symmetrical parts of a polymesh. The key to the whole process is the Mirror button (see Figure 150).

When Mirror is enabled, the template polymesh and network are displayed as a mirror image.

So, to copy a network from one side of a polymesh to the other, first save it into a SLICE file. Then load the same polymesh as the template Mesh, and load the SLICE file you just saved as the template Net. Click on Reset to then remove that network from the Target mesh (see Figure 151).

Click on Mirror and the template view is now mirrored (see Figure 152). You can now proceed as you would with two completely different meshes.
