The cost of scanning is very much based on the complexity of the object and the number of scans we may need to take to get a complete 3D model. We also take into account the type of post processing you require. The simplest surface description for scan data is a polygonal mesh - if you choose to take the scan data as polygonal, the post processing costs are kept to a minimum.

If you require NURBS curves or surfaces the cost would usually be higher.
